Sawyer Bennett never disappoints! This was another amazing book in the Cold Fury series. The next one ‘Lucas’ is already waiting on my Kindle.

Sawyer Bennett is one of my favorite authors. There hasnāt been a book yet, I didnāt like. Loved them all. And just look at all those amazing, yummy covers š Itās only the second book so far I read in this series but itās another winner and I hope to read the others soon. The ARC for the next book in this series āRomanā is already waiting on my Kindle … yay!
Max is a professional hockey player. Heās hot and wanted by every woman. When he he saves convenience store cashier Jules from to jerks heās delighted to find she doesnāt know who he is. Jules has been taking care of her sisterās 3 children when she passed. Jules is struggling but doing a good job! When Max meets her again and gets to know her more heās amazed by her and starts to feel more. Jules however has been struggling so long and has too much self-doubt. Will she be able to let go of the negative stuff?
Max is another great character in SBās books. He is caring, kind and understanding. Jules is a sweet, strong, devoted aunt trying to do everything herself but she needs to learn to let others help her.
The story was parallel to Hawkeās. I loved to read a little bit more on Hawke and Vale. It has been 10 months since I read their story so it was great to catch up a little bit.
I love suspense, drama or lots of hot stuff in my books and this one was more a great romance without all that but still I really really loved it. It is well written and has a great story line…

I was so glad when I finally got to reading the last book in this series. This book was a little bit different from the previous 2 books… More suspense and I just loved how well written it was!
Two people loving each other so much they are willing to give everything up for the other. Such strong love!!
Often when there are 3 books in the series the third one canāt really keep me captivated but wow this one could! So far I loved all of SBās books and itās the same with this one.. I am so grateful for the large epilogue because I wasnāt ready to finish this series haha
I really do hope that Dennis will get a book too. Preferably with Caroline š

Bridgerās past is really horrible! I felt so much pain for this man. He never needed anyone. He thought he didnāt deserve it… I so enjoyed seeing how Maggie and little Belle entered his heart. Maggie was an amazing strong woman and mom.
If you consider skipping books in this series I would advise to read them all and in order since small pieces are revealed in this book which would spoil reading the other books. You wonāt regret because theyāre all great š Iām really sad this seems to be the last book in this series. Maybe a book for Ted??
I loved reading about those great characters from the previous books in this series especially Woolf. Loved how he handled Bridger when he needed a little push.
This book wasnāt as kinky as the other books in this series but damn Bridger is a hot dirty talker.
What I missed in the previous books in this series was an Epilogue. In this book we get one and YAY I totally loved it.

It has been a few months since I finished the first book in this series but it was a book that stuck so I could easily jump into the next.
In this second book of the Sugar Bowl series we see how Beck almost immediately realizes his mistake and goes to search for Sela and hopes sheāll forgive him. When Sela tells him the truth they start to plan how to āendā JT. How far will they go? Will it work? Will JT remember Sela?
Yikes … JT is even more of a monster than I thought after the first book. I didnāt think it could get worse!
Iām still loving both Beck and Sela. I really admire Selaās strength…
In this book we meet another intriguing character. The man that helped Beck get information on JT. Iād love to read a book on Dennis…
I knew it would because there is a third book so this one ended in a Cliffhanger and I really want to know what happened! Unfortunately I have another ARC which needs reading first. I already have the third book on my Kindle and really look forward to it…

As for JT … I hated him so much! For the things he has done to Sela when she was 16 but also for the way he treats her and his ābest friendā Beck. If I would have been able to crawl into the book …
Iām really looking forward to the second book āSugar Rushā and the next āSugar Freeā. I hope Beck does some great grovelling š

This one can be read as stand-alone but I definitely think you’d enjoy it more after reading the previous books.

I have been reading some books from this author lately and again itās a winner for me.Ā I really like the writing style of SB.Ā She also created some amazing characters.Ā I havenāt read the prior books in this series and hope to resolve that soon.Ā After this book weāll get the story of Max ā¦ another one to look forward to š
As for this book.Ā This is the book of Vale and Hawke.Ā They were young, wild and in love until a tragic event separated them.Ā 7 years later they start to work for the same Hockey team and soon find out that their feelings arenāt gone yet.Ā Will they be able to trust again?Ā Will it work this time?
I loved this great story and give it 4 stars.Ā I would have loved a little bit more groveling and a larger epilogue but other than that I really enjoyed this book!Ā I really liked Vale.Ā Sheās a strong, forgiving, young woman!Ā And look at that cover ā¦ š
I won the parts 1 – 7 in this series in the ‘Shh…Holiday GIFT Drawing 2015’ on GoodReads and started reading them as soon as they arrived. I have read a few books from this author before and loved them! And yay, itās the same for this series!
In books 1 ā 6 we get the story of Mac and Matt. They both used the exclusive and discreet service ONO (One Night Only) and had a hot sex-a-thon night which they both enjoyed real hard! But unfortunately itās One Night Only. Big is the shock for both of them when Mac walks in the room to meet her new boss on Monday ā¦ yeah, itās Matt! From now on feelings start to get developed, denied, crushed, ā¦ but in the end we get our HEA!
I really loved this story but am so glad I could read them in one go! I think it would have killed me if I would have read them when they came out in 6 parts ;D
I loved strong, sassy, confident McKayla and I needed some time to like Matt but in the end I loved this hot, alpha sex god with lots of skills!
I loved the story, writing style, characters. There was a great balance between story development and hot sex-a-thons. Definitely not my last read from this author!
I was really curious about Mattās POV which is book 7 in this series and started reading but I think Iāll enjoy it more if Iāll wait some time.
