INSTALLMENT ONE

About 7 months ago I read my first Lora Leigh book. I liked Guilty Pleasure, book 11 in this Bound Hearts series but I loved this book which is book 10 in the series.

Two years ago Kia’s ex-husband tried to force her into a menage. Knowing her marriage had been a lie, the humiliation changed her. Even when she was married she was attracted to Chase but Chase has been hurt himself. He learned that he’s no relationship material. Both think ‘Only Pleasure’ will be enough but is it??

What I loved in this book is that we get more POV’s but unfortunately it isn’t always clear directly whose POV is being told.

I also really loved Khalid and if I hadn’t read it yet I would definitely want to read his book next.

I read this book in 3 installments. This was the first one and I immediately dived into the next one

INSTALLMENT TWO

This was the second installment for book 10 in the Bound Hearts series.

Chase and Kia both thought that just the pleasure would be enough. Kia wants more and so does Chase but he fights his feelings. Chase hasn’t let himself get close to anyone lately. Do you keep on fighting for someone denying his feelings or do you let them go. Going doesn’t go easily. Let’s hope Chase will give into his feelings in time…

This book was H.O.T. There were some very steamy scenes in it and I loved the chemistry between them!

I’m ready for installment three and that HEA they both deserve

With danger lurking they finally both acknowledge their feelings but Chase hasn’t yet expressed his love. Kia however still needs to learn to trust Chase completely.

I loved this final installment but since I’m not a big fan of insta love it kind off went a little bit too fast for me.

But I really did enjoy it, the men are deliciously alpha so I look forward to read more books in this series.

I already read the next book in this series earlier and I loved that one a little bit more. If I hadn’t read it yet I would certainly do so now because the end of this book is a small prologue to book 11 with Khalid’s story.

Please please … I need the next books in this series soon! Same as the previous 2 books in this series I LOVED it! This one might even be my favorite so far =D

This one can be read as stand-alone but I definitely think you’d enjoy it more after reading the previous books.

This book brings us the story of Rand, one of the Fantasy Makers of The Silo. He’s a gorgeous, sexy man and he has enjoyed Cat many times before in The Silo but he never thought he would fall for this amazing, strong, damaged young woman. I loved this story, main characters, the kinky f#ckery, the dirty talk and hot MM(F) action … Sawyer Bennett knows how to write amazing stories which keep you captivated!

The only thing I missed a little is more Bridger haha. Since I started this series he has been my favorite character and I’m impatiently waiting for his book (which will be book 5 if I’m correct).

Innocent Marty finally gets a chance to seduce Khalid. Will their relationship work? How about Khalid’s past?

This book had much potential but I didn’t really feel the chemistry between Marty and Khalid. I love menage books but it felt to me like Shayne wasn’t included as much as I thought he would be. Also the ending was to abrupt for me. I would have loved an epilogue because now their story doesn’t feel finished. What about Shayne? Will he stay as a third or will he leave and get his own story? How about Khalid’s half brother Abram? Did he get hurt in the end? So many unanswered questions… Something I struggled with too is the constant switch between POV’s

I loved the idea but unfortunatelly I can only give this one 2,5 stars

Hot sex … a gorgeous dominating sex club owner … suspense … hot menage … chemistry … did I mention the hot sex 😉 This book has it all!!!

In the beginning I already loved this book but soon there is a twist I didn’t see coming and as of that moment we get lots of suspense! I loved it!

In this book we meet Kamii and Preston. Both have lost the love of their life. Kamii has lost her husband 5 years ago and hasn’t found another man yet to whom she wants to commit. Work has been it for her for the past years. Her erotic, kinky books have kept her company all this time. Preston has lost his wife almost a year ago. She couldn’t handle their kinky lifestyle anymore. Preston now has his own private sex club. He loves sex with other people but will never give his heart to anyone again. This works fine until his business partner and friend Becca introduces Kamii to their club. This is where I’ll stop telling the story since I really don’t want to spoil it…

As I said above something terrible happens at 49%. I really didn’t see that coming and was devastated. As of that moment it’s no longer a hot sexy read but one filled with suspense too.

I loved both main characters but I also their mutual friend Becca. I would love to have a friend like her.

This was my first read of Lauren Runow but I’ll definitely read more in the future! I give this book 4 stars…

A few weeks ago I read the second book ‘Wicked Lust’ in this series and loved it. I hadn’t read many books from this author yet and when lovely Astrid suggested to do a Buddy Read we picked this book ‘Wicked Fall’. It was my first BR and I enjoyed it! Thanks, hon! XO

I always thought that Beauty & The Beast was my favorite story but after this one I think I prefer the big bad ‘Wolf’ 😉 Woolf owns many businesses but the one he enjoys most is the one with his best friend Bridger. They own a nightclub ‘The Wicked Horse’ with an exclusive sex club ‘The Silo’ in another building. Woolf has always enjoyed this lifestyle but when beautiful Callie comes into his life again he feels like she has no place in his! But it won’t take long before she has his twisted up in knots… After finding her fiancée gagged in their bed with another woman she decides it’s time to get rid of her ‘innocent’ image … But being a governor’s daughter she has to watch out… how long will that work? Do they have a chance?

Dark, handsome, possessive, kinky Woolf and sweet, innocent Callie were both wonderful characters and I could feel their chemistry!

The person I loved most was Woolf’s friend Bridger! Damn he’s hot, loyal, smart, … I look forward to his book! There was 1 scene is this book where they include Bridger and it was extremely hot… I loved it!

“Dude… my money is on Callie. I think her sunshine is going to banish your thunderstorm in like a nanosecond.”

The writing style of this book was again amazing. I’m sure I’ll be reading more from this author…

What I missed a little, and I had that with the second book too, is an epilogue. The epilogue in this book is the start of the second book …

“Wicked Lust” is the second book in the “The Wicked Horse” series. I haven’t read the first book yet and have to solve that real soon!

I won’t reveal too much in this review. The story is about a young woman acting on her own personal situation, wanting to bring down corrupt politicians for the political magazine she works for. This was just supposed to be a job… infiltrate a secret sex club, connect it to a governor and write a story. Now she has to make a difficult decision! She never thought to get feelings for hot, kinky Cain. She has a beautiful friendship to lose? She has to think about her mother’s sanity. No matter what she decides, people will get hurt and she has a lot to lose.

The author warns us that this series is different than her other books. This series has sex, lots of sex … dirty sex! I’m rather open minded in what I read and I do love ‘kinky fuckery’ in books. The author did a terrific job! I loved this sexy ride…

I also loved her writing style, character development and secondary characters.

What I missed a little was an epilogue for Cain and Sloane. Their story ends to soon. But I guess they’ll pop up in the next book so I’m adding that one to my TBR list as soon as it’s available on Goodreads 😉

The epilogue we do get in the book is for 2 characters which we already read about in this one: Rand & Catherine. I suppose the third book in this series will be their story and I’m looking forward to it and hope we’ll get some Cain & Sloane in it too… I also hope to someday read Bridger’s story.

I finished this book last night and honestly I really didn’t like it and rated it 1 star and feel bad about it. But 1 stars equals “didn’t like it” on Goodreads so I’ll stick with it.

Why didn’t I like it? I didn’t like the story at all, I didn’t like the writing style, I didn’t like the characters and last but not least because this totally ruined it for me … there are so many spelling and grammar errors. English is not my mother tongue so maybe I’m wrong in some instances but there really are too many. If I’m right this is the author’s first book and she didn’t have an editor but please ask family or friends to read it and help you getting as much errors out as possible. I also saw a rather harsh rating on Amazon from a few months ago (the only rating at that moment) where it’s mentioned that there are too many errors. Use those comments to make improvements …

Here is the story in short but be aware there are spoilers Sarah returns early from a trip with her friends and finds her boyfriend James cheating on her with THREE women. After some hours she returns home, finds him in the house and instead of castrating him they have make up sex??? She still doesn’t throw him out but as a revenge she cheats on him with 2 men. He’s furious and when the cops get involved she gets taken to the station where her neighbour-in-shining-armor Jeff, who has been kind of a stalker without her knowing that, becomes her lawyer…

There were some moments I really wanted to stop but since I got the opportunity to read this one and it was a short one I felt obliged to finish and hoped it would get better…

I still hate doing this but 1 star is my honest rating 😦

4 stars for “The Raven Room – 01 – The Raven Room by Ana Medeiros”

The Raven Room is the first book written by Ana Medeiros.

Julian is a child psychologist and professor. He loves lots of non-committed sex and his kink is in causing pain to his women. He’s in an open relationship with bi-sexual Meredith. They are both using each other for sex for some time now but since Meredith heard about The Raven Room she’s intrigued and uses Julian as a means to an end to get the story that should start her career as a journalist. Julian finally caves and takes Meredith to the mysterious, secret sex club The Raven Room. Here he first sees Alana. There is an immediate magnetism between them and after a chance encounter they start seeing each other more often. This is where I’ll stop telling about the story because I don’t want to spoil it for you but I do want to point out that this is NOT a love triangle!

This story is told from different POV’s. Besides Julian, Meredith and Alana we get to know several interesting side characters. One of those is Meredith’s stepmom Pamela. She’s investigating murder, possibly linked to The Raven Room… which is sort of a side-story in this book but relevant. Meredith uses Pam to find out more information on Julian, Alana and the 2 little girls from Julian’s past. But is that a smart decision?

Besides that we also get to meet Julian’s friend Peter and his wife Grace and ‘their’ kids Eli and Seth. I’m not really sure yet what their role in this story will be but I guess we’ll find out in the next books.

This was a well written, exciting book with hot sex and a few nice twists & revelations. I had a small suspicion concerning Alana but I’ll have to wait until the second book to find out if I’m correct. Hopefully that second book will answer all the new questions that popped up while reading …

Be warned this is NOT a romance and there is no HEA (yet)!

4 stars for “The Blindfold Club – 03 – Three Little Mistakes by Nikki Sloane”

We met Joseph in the first 2 books which I liked very much. I’m glad he got his own book. Joseph is very hot and dominating. Noemi has had a very good-girl life and wants to break free and be naughty! Joseph helps her with this and gets her to submit in no time and then it gets very steamy and kinky! (mff / ff / group / choking / exhibitionism) H.O.T.!!

I would love to read more books of this author. In November 2015 we’ll get to read book 2.5 “One More Rule”. And then there is book 4 “Three Dirty Secrets” for January 2016. Will that be Julius’book??

2 stars for “The Life of Anna – 02 – Entwined by Marissa Honeycutt”

When I finished part 1 (smallest book) I wasn’t sure if I was willing to read 5 books on this story and not even halfway thru book 2 I was sure. This is it for me. I liked the story but it feels like nothing really new happened in book 2 and pages are just filled with sex, abuse, punishment, … I like dark reads but this one was over the top sometimes and just disgusting instead of dark. Example: Spoiler: Devin admits to his wife that he had his mouth on Anna when she was just a 3 days old! The book could have been written without that part as far as I’m concerned!

I finished this book and kept hoping that Devin would get what he deserved or at least some. I wouldn’t have minded if this was the last book with a HEA for Anna and Alex but there are 3 more parts and at the moment I’m not willing to read more … maybe later?

This book gets 2.5 stars
