Close to YouAbout half a year ago I read the first book in this series… “Listen to me” gave us the story of Addie and Jake and after finishing I wanted to read more about the other 4 amazing women in their group of friends.

This second book gives us Cami’s story. Cami has always loved 1 man. Her best friend’s brother Landon. She has broken off her loveless marriage and makes it her mission now to find a good girl for her ex. Who does that? It was fun to read about in the book. What she didn’t know is that Landon loved her too but she was too young. Landon has been a Navy pilot for the last 10 years with occasional short visits home. After Cami got married he stopped writting her. An accident forced him to leave the navy. Now he is home again. But is it home or is the navy home? What about their childhood feelings? How do you handle an evil cat that forces himself in your house (I’m typing this with a tiny black/white kitten on my lap) 😉

This was another fun and light romance without much drama. I’m not a too big fan of insta love but it worked for this book.

Looking forward to the next book which will give us Kat’s story. Yay!

Listen to me by Kristen ProbyThe right book at the right moment! I needed a light, fun read which didn’t need to much thinking and this one was perfect.

Addison Wade and 4 of her closest friends are all co-owners of Seduction. Business is going great and when they add hot musician Jake Keller to the menu … euh I mean entertainment Addie has difficulties keeping her distance. She has several bad experiences with his TYPE. Jake used to perform in a well-known band but unfortunate events made him stop enjoy performing. Can Jake convince Addie he’s not like her past boyfriends? Or will he abandon her too?

As I said this was a fun, easy read without too much drama. I loved both main characters but also their friends. Reading the interactions with their friends was nice too. Jake messed up near the end but he did the right amount of groveling 😉

I’m looking forward to read the next books in this series and am so glad to see on GoodReads that the next book in this series “Close to You” is going to be Cami and Landon’s story! Yay!
