When I bought this book it wasn’t aware that this was part of a series. The book ends in a cliffhanger and I don’t like that I wasn’t prepared for that when I started reading this one!
The last pages bring clarification on everything that happened and I really didn’t see this coming. After reading that part I kind of hated Allen…
The title on the book is “A wicked lie : an erotic thriller ”. But for me this isn’t a thriller at all. And the erotic part is a very small part of the book and consists mostly of dreams Shae has!
I did however really like the story.
I’m not sure yet if I’ll be buying the next 2 parts. This book gets 2.5 stars
