I really loved this story and needed some time to process it all before writing this review. I wasn’t sure about the rating but I’ll stick with 4 stars!
I won’t give to many details about the book but in short it’s the story of 24 year old Mina who has been surviving the streets for 7 years. She’s desperate and near starvation when she steels a wallet and gets busted by Lev. As of that moment perfectly imperfect Lev takes care of her and what starts as a friendship develops into a beautiful relationship.
It is mostly a romance and a beautiful, well written one! But I prefer a little bit of drama or suspense in my books. I had hoped this would be another dark read but after reading some reviews I knew it wouldn’t be but still I was intrigued and bought it… and I’m glad for that!
I also loved most side characters. As for this series, I couldn’t find where the next books would be about but I really hope it will be the story of Cora and Alessio! And hopefully we’ll read more about Mina & Lev in those new books…
After RAW, this was only my second book by Belle Aurora but it will definitely not be the last. I loved both stories and am sure there are more jewels between her books!
