What I did like about this book but what is often too much in other books is the multiple POV … For this book it worked because it really helped to find out what all main characters were thinking.
I loved this dark conclusion of the Cartel series and would love to read more from this author. I loved her Gypsy Brothers series. I still have to read the last book in that series and am really looking forward to it. This author knows how to write dark, captivating books!
Be warned this book doesn’t have a real HEA and even though I knew what was going to happen I was crying so much… Heartbreaking!!

Deny is the third book in the Jericho Brotherhood series by Jade Chandler. I really love MC series and this a good one combining hot sexy bikers and a bit of kink. Well in this book more than a bit 😉 Marr is a Domme who has had enough of men and Jericho is a Dom or at least, he used to be one until he made a mistake in the past. Determined not to love anymore and keep his dominant side hidden he thinks he can have fun with Marr without getting attached but we all know how that goes huh? You can deny as much as you want but what’s meant to be, will happen! Anyway this was a great MC romance with lots of kink and some suspense. I loved reading them and look forward to read more in this series or from this author.
This is a sweet romance with a kinky side about a hot, tattooing biker with a need for pain and his sweet girl finding it difficult to become his property when she doesn’t have a good history with her abusive father. Will Avery’s love for Rock be strong enough to become a part of the MC. Can she handle his need for pain?
What can I say?? I don’t think there has been a book yet from Kristen Ashley which I didn’t like. Love them all. My favorit biker in her books will always be Tack but Logan is great too! He’s a wonderful man and dad. Possessive and protective. I admire Millie and can see why she did what she did when they were younger. I listened to the Audible for this book and usually it takes me longer to finish an Audible since I only listen while ironing or when I’m taking a walk alone but I couldn’t put this one down yesterday so I finished it earlier 😉 I did like the voice for Millie but not so much the ‘male’ voices.
There are a few types of book I prefer : MC, tattoo shops, kinky, … And guess what? This book is about a sexy, kinky, tattoo-artist biker! Yay!
I have already read the third book in this series ‘Exquisite Redemption’ and loved it. That book is about Beach (the MC’s president) & Sarah (Swan’s sister). I loved that book so when this first book in the series popped up on NetGalley I just had to request it!! And it didn’t disappoint…

She isn’t ready for a new man yet but will she be able to resist his charms? Will the past catch up? I won’t tell more because this is a really short book. A little to short to really connect with the characters. It was definitely a fun read. MC books is one of my favorite genres and I really loved Ardan. I’m not too fond of insta-love so the love declarations went a little too fast for me…
Damn you Dornan! You made me like you a little bit after book 1. I know what happened in the ‘Gypsy Brothers’ series but putting that into the very back of my mind, I did see your better side but now I hate you again …
