10 months ago Scar was kidnapped by the cartel to force Killian to work with them. This event was tragic for both of them. Both handle it in their way. Killian doesn’t feel worth touching his wife until he finds the kidnapper and makes him suffer. He can’t forgive himself untill he manages that. Scarlet needs to be touched and gets this with Jerricho. Jerricho is on the run and being blackmailed. To get money he sells himself as a dom. He is a sadist and gets Scar’s masochist side to surface. Scar and Killian have had other men of women in their bed but Killian doesn’t know how to feel about Jerricho.

This book had some hot, kinky scenes in it including MM and MMF. I loved this intense, well written story and look forward to read more from this author! A few months ago I read Exhibition and loved it…

What I missed was an epilogue…

This was a lovely, sweet romance about a man being eaten by guillt for the last 8 years. A man feeling like he doesn’t deserve love and a family. But what happens when he meets a sweet little girl and her mom? A hardworking, dedicated mom with a big heart. A little girl missing a leg, just like him. It doesn’t take long for him to fall for Casey and her mother Paige. Can he convince Paige to believe in the fairy tale?

Even though I usually need something more in books I really did enjoy this one and look forward to reading the previous books in this series because all the characters I met of this family are just great!!

I’m not a big fan of insta-love but for a sweet romance like this it works. I give it 3.5 stars.

Please please … I need the next books in this series soon! Same as the previous 2 books in this series I LOVED it! This one might even be my favorite so far =D

This one can be read as stand-alone but I definitely think you’d enjoy it more after reading the previous books.

This book brings us the story of Rand, one of the Fantasy Makers of The Silo. He’s a gorgeous, sexy man and he has enjoyed Cat many times before in The Silo but he never thought he would fall for this amazing, strong, damaged young woman. Now he only has to make Cat believe in her own worth. Which isn’t easy with the history she has …

I loved this story, main characters, the kinky f#ckery, the dirty talk and hot MM(F) action … Sawyer Bennett knows how to write amazing stories which keep you captivated!

The only thing I missed a little is more Bridger haha. Since I started this series he has been my favorite character and I’m impatiently waiting for his book (which will be book 5 if I’m correct).

Jane and Dallas are brother and sister by law and by adoption but not by blood. They have a special bond and when they both are 15 they get kidnapped and go through a traumatizing experience. During their abduction they get close even though it isn’t ‘right’! After getting rescued they take distance and handle it both in a different ways.

Now 17 years later Dallas is known as The King of Fuck, a reputation he has been building for years. He also started an organization ‘Deliverance’ with a few men he thrusts to find kidnapped children and hopefully also track the people who kidnapped and tormented Jane and himself. Jane is an author who wants to fight illegal organizations who endanger children with their rescue attempts.

Can they keep their distance? Will their ‘Dirtiest Secret’ get revealed? Will there be justice after all this time? I’m looking forward to the next book in this series

I have read the Stark Trilogy from this author and loved all 3 books! This one is a winner again and receives 3.5 stars. It is a hot, suspenseful romance. But for me personally the first part dragged too long. It took them too long to finally admit that they can’t stay apart. After that the book is a hot read with some kinky pieces. I hope to get more kinky stuff in the next book 😉

4 stars for “The Bad Ones by Stylo Fantome”

So far I have read most of Stylo’s books and loved them all!!  The Kane Trilogy was my first read and after that trilogy each read was better than the previous.  They are all different and wonderful but I had a hard time rating this one.  I also needed some time to review this one and eventually deleted it and started over.

I’m not going to tell about the story since I would probably reveal to much.  It is a unique dark and twisted story and I COULDN’T PUT IT DOWN!  I loved it but I can’t really love the main characters.  I usually really need to like the main characters to love a book and in this case I really didn’t like them but I still love the book … Does that make sense??

I’m looking forward to read more from this author.  I’m so curious what will be next?  I already have Out Of Plans waiting for some time on my Kindle now and hope to read it soon…

Con finally unlocked the doors and she hefted herself into the massive vehicle. They sat in silence for a

while, their breath fogging up the glass. Then he opened his mouth.

“Not in any way that counts,” she replied, turning to look at him. His hands had moved to grip the

steering wheel.

“So he has touched you.”

“Jared was just an experiment, I wanted to see if -”

“You let him fucking touch you.”

“You fucking left me!” she was suddenly screaming. He didn’t even flinch, just gripped the

steering wheel harder. “You fucking left me in this fucking town, without a goddamn goodbye! Without

a goddamn word! God, you have no idea what it’s been like. That fucking camera, all those

drawings. And there’s all these people, and talking, and feeling this way, and all the blackness, and I

don’t even know what’s wrong with me, and nothing. You come back, and it’s like

nothing to you. Oh hey, Dulcie. Where’s your sketchbook, Dulcie. Come to a party, Dulcie.

Let me just fuck this chick in the woods, Dulcie. So you know what? Yeah, he fucking touched me. I let

him fucking touch me. And I hated every minute of it, and I would pretend it was you, and I would hate

you, and I would hate myself, and I just let it happen.”

Con lunged across the seat, and absurdly, her first thought was “wow, he’s really fast”

before his fingers wrapped around her throat. She wasn’t fazed, though, and she pushed right back,

slapping him across the face. This only caused him to clench both hands around her neck and he yanked

her forward, dragging her to him so their faces were only inches apart.

“Stupid little Dulcie,” he whispered, his breath hot against her lips. She held onto his wrists and glared at

him, but didn’t try to pull away. His fingers got tighter. “So scared of the big bad wolf.”

“I’m not … scared of you,” she managed to gasp out, but then his grip grew so tight he completely cut off

her oxygen.

“Of course you aren’t scared of me. I’m not the wolf. You are.”

So that’s what was hiding behind the curtain. I wish you’d told me sooner, Con. We could’ve

reveled in our darkness together.

It felt like a weight was lifted off her back. She’d been pretending for so long, and she hadn’t even

realized it. Had conditioned herself to do it. It was easier to believe Con was the darkness, and she was

simply drawn to it. Basking in his wake. But it was all a lie – she was every bit as dark as him. They were

the same animal. She’d just been better at deceiving herself. And now they’d evolved into something

else, into a new, higher being.

Her lungs were throbbing, screaming for oxygen. She could feel her pulse pounding behind her face. Her

mouth was open, but she couldn’t make a sound. Black spots danced in front of her eyes, yet still they

stared at each other. Recognizing each other, maybe for the first time ever.

Maybe for the last time.

What a way to die, looking into the face of this beautiful boy. What a gift.

 

 

Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a

necessity!), I have been writing since …, forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I

remind people of Lucille Ball – I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I

laugh a lot, I’m clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don’t trust anyone who

doesn’t drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year,

there’s your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair – both a curse and a blessing – and most of

the time I talk so fast, even I can’t understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

2+ stars for “Bound Hearts – 11 – Guilty Pleasure by Lora Leigh”

FBI agent Marty has been tailing Khalid for the last 2 years. The man she has wanted since she was only 15 years old. Marty has two fathers, her father and her godfather, both men lovers of her mother. Just like her fathers Khalid is a member of the same club where this has been normal for the last 2 centuries. Khalid has always been the third in previous relationships but has always wanted Marty but didn’t want his past to hurt her. Now they can’t resist each other anymore. Innocent Marty finally gets a chance to seduce Khalid. Will their relationship work? How about Khalid’s past?

This book had much potential but I didn’t really feel the chemistry between Marty and Khalid. I love menage books but it felt to me like Shayne wasn’t included as much as I thought he would be. Also the ending was to abrupt for me. I would have loved an epilogue because now their story doesn’t feel finished. What about Shayne? Will he stay as a third or will he leave and get his own story? How about Khalid’s half brother Abram? Did he get hurt in the end? So many unanswered questions… Something I struggled with too is the constant switch between POV’s

I loved the idea but unfortunatelly I can only give this one 2,5 stars
