I really don’t know what to do!!! I had a hard time finishing this book since I don’t like the main male character at all… I really dislike him! But for some reason I couldn’t not finish the book. I was intrigued by the story and I really wanted to know more about X. Who is she? Where did she come from? What happened? Unfortunately the answers to those questions aren’t revealed yet in the first book of this “Madame X” series.

At moments I had an issue with the POV of this book but I do like the writing style of Jasinda Wilder.

So why do I dislike Caleb so much? He claims that X belongs to him and he doesn’t share but he isn’t faithful himself. That’s a big NO for me… I guess we’ll learn why in the next book but I’m not sure yet if I’ll read the next one. I guess it just isn’t for me 😦

It has been a few months since I finished the first book in this series but it was a book that stuck so I could easily jump into the next.

In this second book of the Sugar Bowl series we see how Beck almost immediately realizes his mistake and goes to search for Sela and hopes she’ll forgive him. When Sela tells him the truth they start to plan how to ‘end’ JT. How far will they go? Will it work? Will JT remember Sela?

Yikes … JT is even more of a monster than I thought after the first book. I didn’t think it could get worse!

I’m still loving both Beck and Sela. I really admire Sela’s strength…

In this book we meet another intriguing character. The man that helped Beck get information on JT. I’d love to read a book on Dennis…

I knew it would because there is a third book so this one ended in a Cliffhanger and I really want to know what happened! Unfortunately I have another ARC which needs reading first. I already have the third book on my Kindle and really look forward to it…

Sawyer Bennett is an amazing author which gave me another great read! I’m giving this one 4.25 stars!

4 stars for “Dirty Money – 01 – Hard Rules” by Lisa Renee Jones

I already read several books from this author and loved them all. When I saw this one on NetGalley I wanted to request an ARC immediately… And yay, I’m glad because I loved it.

This book gives us hot, protective Shane with his messed up family and a family business he wants to save by being a good guy. Who can he trust and who not? Is everybody who they seem to be? Even Emily? Emily has her own secrets and is running from them. What should have been 1 night of casual sex … A hot one night stand with Shane becomes more. Will she be able to keep her secret. Will they push each other away to protect the other or are their feelings too strong?

I’m looking forward to the next book in this series! Is Derek as bad as he seems? I also loved Shane’s secretary Jessica and hope to read more about her. I don’t really have a clue about Emily’s secret so I really want to know it…

Terra is immediately attracted but a non-catholic, non-italic man would never be approved by her father, the Godfather of the Italian Mafia.

Both have their secrets. Michael doesn’t reveal his profession and Terra doesn’t reveal who she really is. How long can they keep their secret? Will they be able to stick to Michael’s No-Sex-For-30-Days?

What I loved are both main characters! I also loved how feisty Terra is, both their dirty mouths and Michael’s friend Cap. I hope that Cap and Terra’s friend Michelle get a book too or we can read more about them in a second book.

Now some MINOR issues for me personally. I felt that Terra needed to reveal her secret when Michael confessed everything. I really missed an epilogue 😦 I’m not a big fan of insta-love. Condoms, birth control, … were never discussed.

The next books in this series will be The Game Changer & The Good Boss. The Gun Runner was the first book I read from this author and get 3,75 stars. I look forward to read more. Any suggestions on a book?

I really loved this debut for Amelia LeFay. “The Anatomy of Jane” is the first book in the WJM series. I’m already looking forward to book 2 which is expected in the fall/winter 2016.

This book brings us the story of reporter Max and famous cook Wes. Both men have been in a hidden relationship for the last few years. Revealing their relationship is not possible because of Max’s family. When they get a new house maid, Jane, both men are attracted to her. Max is working on revealing a scandal concerning a governor. Who is involved? Will a relationship between the 3 of them work? Will their secret be kept?

If they were both hanging of a cliff, and I could only choose one, I’d join them on the cliff and hope we could go together.

Even though I knew there would be a cliffhanger, I hated that!! Haha. I can’t wait for the next book…
I really loved this steamy, hot book. I haven’t read much MM books yet but I can tell you that it was H.O.T. ! There are also some very hot MMF and MFM scenes. I loved both men and admired Jane’s strength.

Or should she focus on her new relationship? Will Beck realize in time what a bastard JT is?

This is becoming one of the authors I love reading without even knowing what the book will be about. This first book in the Sugar Bowl trilogy was a hot read with lots of chemistry between Sela and Beck. I have screamed so hard when I finished reading … Damn I hate cliffhangers 😉

As for JT … I hated him so much! For the things he has done to Sela when she was 16 but also for the way he treats her and his ‘best friend’ Beck. If I would have been able to crawl into the book …

I’m really looking forward to the second book ‘Sugar Rush’ and the next “Sugar Free”. I hope Beck does some great grovelling 😉

No no no no … that Cliffhanger, I didn’t see that coming … no!!! I’m so sorry sweet Stella but I’m on Sinclair’s side now! He just has to do this and you’ll just have to survive … damn!

I loved this book even more than the first one. Stella has chosen Lucius as her owner and wants to go to the trials with him. Will Lucius still want this when Sinclair tells him the truth about what will have to be done? What will the brutal Christmas trials do to Stella? How will this affect the 3 brothers? I’m not telling more about this story since I don’t want to spoil anything…

In the first book I had huge problems with Sinclair but this book changed my mind. I still don’t really like Lucius but then there is sweet, young Teddy… I really adore that boy and hope he’ll get the chance to continue his rather ‘carefree’ life …

As for Stella … wow her strength and compassion for others! I really admire her for this. I also love the attraction between her and Sinclair.

I’m really looking forward to the third book and am so glad it’s planned for April 2016 🙂

It had been some time since I read a dark erotic book and I enjoyed this one. It wasn’t as dark as I thought it would be but still an enjoyable read. I give it 4 stars.

During the last 250 years the rich have been ruled by a Sovereign. This Sovereign is chosen every 10 years. Now tall and handsome district attorney Sinclair Vinemont, firstborn in his family, is 1 of the 3 candidates. He needs to present his chosen Acquisition on the brutal, humiliating, Acquisition trials. Stella Rousseau’s father faces prison time. To save her father from suffering in prison Sinclair makes a deal with her. Signing his contract will bind her to him for 1 year in which he owns her body and soul. Will Sinclair be able to keep it strict business? What will new revealed betrayal do to Stella?

It took me some time to connect with the characters but now I admire Stella’s strength. Even though this is something Sinclair HAD to do I can’t like him yet. I hope that changes after the next 2 books. In the beginning I had a problem with Stella’s behavior. Even though she’s a captive and should fear and hate him she’s still able to laugh and masturbates while thinking about him in her first night in his house ??

I really liked the youngest brother Teddy in this book but I hate Lucius but still I want to read the next book in this series where we’ll get lots more of Lucius…

I have read the first novel ‘Bend Me’ about two months ago and loved it. Eliza/Agnes divorce papers still haven’t been signed yet by her husband. Eliza has agreed to a 2 month trial period with David as his submissive. She wants to tell her secret as soon as the divorce papers are signed. David makes her feel safe, cherished, loved, free, understood … and she wants more of this but will she get it? Will Jonathan sign the divorce papers for the divorce HE suggested? Where is he? How long can she keep her secret? Will her lies come out?

I loved this second novel and give it 3.5 stars. I look forward to read the third one ‘Bind Me’ with hopefully an HEA!

What I also loved about this book and the other two is the covers… gorgeous.

4+ stars for “Iron Horse MC – 03 – Exquisite Redemption by Ann Mayburn”

Yay I loved this one!! I really love MC books with hot, dominant bikers and this one was great…

This is the third book in the “Iron Horse MC” series. Book 1 & 2 are about Smoke and Swan. Swan is Sarah’s identical twin sister. The sequence of the books in this series is a little strange. Their story actually takes place after book 3 and I guess also book 4.

This book “Exquisite Redemption” brings us the story of Sarah. As a young 4 year old girl her parents get separated. Her abusive, drug addicted mother takes off with Sarah and leaves her twin sister with her father Mike. They keep moving again and again, taking new identities. Finally at 14 she is allowed to see her father again. You’d think she would finally have a normal life but a dad training you to become a mini commando isn’t exactly ‘normal’… Now she has just finished her ‘career‘ as a pole dancer and wants to have 1 crazy night before searching for a stable, normal life. She meets the hot, dominant, rugged, drool worthy Carlos ‘Beach’ Rodriguez, national Prez of the Iron Horse MC. What was supposed to be 1 hot night ends in both of them getting kidnapped. And this is where it gets fun! Instead of the male being the rescuer, Sarah is a real kickass badass woman … loved it! This is as far as I’ll go telling the story because I don’t want to spoil anything.

This was a well written romance with great, likeable main characters. There are also some great side characters: Beach’s mom Mouse, Sarah’s stepmom Mimi, … I loved the storyline and, in case you didn’t notice yet, how badass Sarah is! She is strong, savage, sexy, sassy, self-confident, lethal …

This book end on a Happily For Now but there is more to the story. I’m looking forward to read the rest of it after March 3rd, 2016. I also really want to read the first two books in this series but will wait until after the 4th book…
